whats going on people?
it seems ive been a guest here for longer then i had realized...
so ya wanna know what i drive? ok, your mistake...
daily driver is a 91 stepside scottsdale, 4.3l and 5-speed. its lowered, too much. was supposed to be a 4-6 drop, it measured out to be 5-8. so now i have a 2 inch drop myself from the first time i experienced frame slap from my spine compressed, i walk with a lean and my teeth randomly fall out.. but with the 255's on all four corners she handles like scca race car and my ciggarettes are somewhere on the passenger side of the truck.
in the garage is a 87 monte carlo ss... this car has cost me my license 7 times in 7 years.... an 8,500 rpm red line, beer and a valid registration on this car was not a good combination... that motor blew(and trans at the same time, dont ask) over 10 years ago and i havent allowed myself to put another one in it sense... but those memories are the best ill ever have.
in the driveway is the 84 camaro... that was/is a mistake also... that is the dumbest car design i have ever seen in my life (f-body, 3rd gen and up)... like the monte carlo had, it has dart heads, solid cam 11.5:1 compression, manual valve trans bla bla bla bla and a gas tank that is was to small for some thing you count gallons to the mile in... it is not regersted, prob. never will be and id rather not drive it so i dont have a repeat of the monte ss...
next to that is a 2000 camaro ss with a 6 speed... i hate that thing also. it has to many new part taking up to much real estate in my garage... i dont think i can curse here so i wont tell you how i really feel about this car... ( you shouldnt have to basically remove a motor to install long tube headers on anything) this is actually her car.. its why we started dating, that was a mistake also.. now i cant get rid of either of them. (not that i really want too)
and last but not least i have a 1994 suzuki gxsr 1100 in the garage also, it sits next to the monte carlo... i have spent more money on this thing sense i owned it then ive paid on my mortgage in the last 3 years.. financially it seems to make more sense to keep this P.W.B.A.G.T.D. (place where bank accounts go to die) then it does to keep the owner of the 2000 camaro... (this is just based off of how much ill loose) but its fun, i dont bother tagging it, if i ever need a license plate on it i just borrow a dealer plate from work... it does 0-193 (gps't) in something like 16 seconds. its actually not even an 1100 anymore. (factory is only 1074cc) it sounds cool at idle and looks fantasticly perfect... the odometer says 11,5xx miles... that is a blatant lie. i used to be able to put that on it in one season, then that stupid 2000 camaro started parking in front of the house, now im lucky to start the thing 3 times a year...
currently im trying to build a 4.3l v6 with a whipple and bowtie crossram to replace the 222k mile drive train in the daily driver and there are 3 other V8's in random different phases of being built throughout the garage.. they'll get done one day...probably just not this year...
finally, can someone tell me how to post a pic on here? i tried asking the lil search box and it lead me on a wild thread chase...
