Well my 4l60 is nearing its end. Was thinking of swapping a manual tranny in. If i can find one and giver a rebuild, how easy is it to swap? Any specific parts i would need? Has anyone else on here done this?

Looking to do this as well. I found this article for a T56 http://gmtruckcentral.com/articles/t56.html Since I have 4.10 gears I would prefer the six speed but I am open to 5 speed ideas as well.
