Hey all,

I have a 2002 Suburban 3/4 Ton model with Auto-4x4. The lights behind the buttons that illuminate the writing on them have burned out. The indicator lights are fine. I'm not sure if they are bulb or LED. Is there a way to replace those lights, or do have to get a new button assembly? Thanks for the help.

I bought the entire switch assy for like 40 bucks on eBay a few years back. Not sure but that may be the only way to fix. I never bothered to look at the light setup since I replaced due to the control being bad, not a lighting issue

On my 99 OBS they are just regular small bulbs. Once the switch is out you can see where it snaps together. Just seperate it and you can access the circuit board real easy. I had to take mine apart because I had to resolder a plug connection just like the windshield wiper circuit board. Just a couple broken solder joints where one of the plugs goes. Working great now.
