I'm new here and I recently bought an 89 single cab long bed 4x4 for just over 2 grand I'm wanting to run 33's or 35's if I can on the stock 16'' wheels. Was wondering what size suspention lift is minimum to do this and really would like to to see some trucks running similar setups but I can't seem to find many ppl that stuck with there stock wheels. I would just like to see some before I jump head first into this as the truck is 4 states away and I will not be there until it is done. Thanks in advance, Caleb.

33s would be pushing it with no lift, if you wanna go complete suspension lift you would need atleast a 4inch but if you just want the bigger tires i would go with a 3-4 inch body(cheap and easy) or 4 inch blocks(easier) its cheap and you can prolly run 35s with maybe 3 inches or so

No body lifts for me and money is not an issue, the truck is just super clean so i would like to stick with the stock wheels cuz I like the look. I think I'm gonna go with a four in lift I'm really just wondering what the best looking tire option is as far as size? And who makes a good 4 in lift?

Lol I still don't understand why people are so against body lifts. Anyway I have 8 inch skyjacker and I've had no issues just figure out what type of suspension lift you want and go from there check out sites like skyjackers or rough country, even 4wheelparts you can find reviews on pretty much every lift they sell and they will price match

And I would go 35, but I'm a firm believer in the whole go big or go home, if you want more of a proportional look probably 33 would be your best bet, whereas 35 will give you more of the stuffed look
