Back story on the truck:
I bought it in 2003 from my wfe's (then girlfriend) parents. It was her first truck, she got in 2002 with 199K miles. She drove it for a little over a year when the tranny siezed up shattering the flywheel at 206K. I picked the truck up for $500 with plans on dropping in a new crate motor and new transmission and driving it. Well push comes to shove, and those that know me know that I can't just leave well enough alone. It started out as, while I got the motor out, might as well clean the frame up, well since I did the engine bay, I should do under the cab and pulled it off, and so on...it eventually (over a 2 month period) got completely torn down and every part either got refurbed, refinished, or replaced. I was making good headway on the project when I began reassembling everything. Originally went with a 6/9 static drop which turned out not to be low enough so I bought a complete bag setup for it. Then life happened and it sort of got set off to the side, covered my fresh chassis in plastic and ignored it for quite sometime, even sold a lot of parts for it to fund my S10 project :banghead:.
The time has come to get working on the truck again! I've got a ton of new plans, which unfortunately include reworking some of what has already been done. It's almost like I'm starting over. About a month ago, I contacted KPConcepts on my idea and interest in rendering work, and we got to work hammering out all the details and got a rendering done for the truck. Gotta say it's nice to see the plan I've had for 9 years finally in a "real" state.

-94' side mirrors colormatched
-Keeping the door handles and colormatching them
-shaved taillights, will have hidden leds under the tailgate.
-slight chop on the top, about 2” or so, keeping the original angle on the windshield
-seam between cab and roof will be smoothed.
-clear glass “fish bowl” look
-bed gap will be closed up a bit, taking it down to about ½” or so.
-shaved stake pockets
-molded in smooth rollpan
-Shaved tailgate handle
-inside of the bed will be tubbed an oak wood floor with stainless strips will be installed and sides will be smoothed
-exhaust will come out of the center of the pan with two custom made tips
-shaving the upper bodyline just under the window
-reworking the lower bodyline to be basically a bigger version of what the upper body line was (mimmicking the nbs lower body line)
Chassis and suspension:
-lowered static in the rear 8” (not not 100% decided on this, might end up 4-linking it)
-bagged in the front (not really looking to lay completely out, mainly for a better ride over coil springs
-it will be stock floor body dropped (only reason is to hid the frame)
-disc brakes on all corners
-Calipers will be either orange or blue to match exterior color.
-22” Intro Aurora polished billet wheels 8.5” front 10” back (mild lip, nothing major)
-Undecided on tires atm, someting at or under 31" tall preferred
Exerior colors:
-dark blue on top it’s a variation of a Honda blue
-clean/pure pearl white on bottom, it will be a custom mix with GM’s Summit White as a basecoat, and PPG’s Crystal silver and white pearl used as the pearlcoat
-larger orange graphic
-smaller deep purple graphic, it a ford code (GN) Ultraviolet purple used in the mid 90s. Hard to tell in the pic, but the blue and the purple are clearly different, the purple is bright and deep in the light.
-graphic “windows” done in a carbon fiber look, with shadowing around the border to appear deeper underneath
Still undecided on pinstriped colors between everything, that'll get worked out when it's in the booth
Interior:
-lowback Blazer bucketseats covered in a light tan leather and suede
-light tanl suede headliner
-all the interior plastics will be died al tan, with the center of the dash going body color.
-custom door panels
-tan carpet
-upgraded stereo (nothing major, just better sound)
-spray-in sound deadener inside and underneath the cab.
-billet steering wheel
-trying to figure out how to put matching buckets in the back to have a full custom center console/sub box to go from front to back.
I know I'm missing some stuff, also minor stuff will get worked out/changed as the build progresses.
