The button you push to reset the trip odo is stuck and I can't reset it. Were taking the dash apart today to install new speakers and will take a look to see if there's anything obviously wrong. But any ideas or things to look for would be appreciated :D

Well, I got the dash apart but wasn't able to get the gauge cluster out due to the line to the transmission. Didn't want to mess with that. Sucks I can't use my trip odometer - oh well, could be worse.

Now it's been awhile since I've even looked inside of my 85, but I have a 91 suburban cluster and all and I thought mine was a turn to reset knob and not a push. Plus the wires that hook up for your gear indicator should just be in a clip on the plastic of the column, just unclip and remove.

Yes, I've tried to push it, turn it, it doesn't do anything. And I don't mean the gear shift wire, I mean the cable that plugs into the back of the cluster - goes to the transmission (my husband thinks) to control the odometer.

Yeah, it is annoying. Especially since we're trying to monitor the gas mileage in this thing before we do the mods to the TBI. Oh well.... whole numbers it is lol :D
