Hey guys,

I'm new here but have an 05 Silverado single cab(pics coming soon) that I want to go as low as possible with a static drop. The catch is, it will still be a daily driver.

I just picked up rims and tires so the drop looks clean. They are 295 35 r22, blacked out.

I've seen other guys talking about 7/7 drops and so fourth but they can hardly turn with it so it makes me apprehensive.

Advice?

7/7 sounds a bot extreme to me

With that tire size the lowest youll want to do is a 3/5 or 3/6 if you want to keep it a daily driver

I have a 4/6 on my 07 classic with 275/45/20. I have daily driven this set up for a little over a year. I will raise it back up this week. Not bad as a daily, but tired of the rough roads, steep driveways. I got trapped in a crowded parking lot with monster speed bumps a month ago. That was the final straw. It was either bag it or raise it back up.

Thank you for the feed back, I was actually thinking about the 4/6 drop. The main thing I'm wanting is to tuck the 22s but still be driveable. Will a 4/6 do that? As far as speed bumps and getting over things goes, I don't mind that, it's more of being able to make a turn that I'm concerned about. Like I said, I'm a noob to the lowered truck scene so thank you for your patience with all my questions.

This is my daily 3/5 helper bags on 20s 245-45 up front and 285-45 in the rear i even tow with this setup
22s would be perfect with a 3/5 drop

As Ragmc is sayin, 4/6 is probably the lowest you'll want to go with that tire size.

Theres guys runnin arond the RGV with 6/8, 7/9 and pretty sure theres one at 9/11 but again. Thats RGV where everyroad is as flat as glass and no hills in sight.

....for you, 4/6 would be good seeing as you already have tires. I'd like to go 6/8 some day once I get tired of my lift.
