I am installing djm spindles on my 96 and made sure I got the correct spindles I got one installed but it hits on the upper control arm when I lowered the jack under the lower control arm, would I have to trim that upper control arm?

I did find a thread that people do bend the brake line to clear the top of the spindle

and about the spindle hitting the uca it does hit when I lowered the suspension with the jack under the lca but it doesn't when I lift it, so for now I am going to do the other side and I hope with the wheels on it won't hit bc the whole suspension will be lifted back up with the tires

I never checked for clearance while on the jack. Once wheels were on the ground I had no clearance issues. I didn't bend any lines.

1. Normal.

2. Yup, simply hand bend it a little bit so it doesn't make contact.

Doing mine right now (took a break for lunch) and had to bend the line slightly. Just seems odd to me that its supposed to go between the upper BJ nut and the spindle. Right? Odd.

Anyhow, I also have clearance issues at the top of the spindle when its at full droop. It'll never see that outside of being jacked up, so its not a MAJOR concern.
