My dad has a 95 k1500 4x4 305 and most of the dash lights are blown in both the radio, and the HVAC unit. He doesn't want an aftermarket radio, and we know the bulbs in the old radio are not going to be replaced easily so we found a re-manufactured one. My question is (since I have never had the unit in my truck or his out) can the HVAC lights be replaced "plug and play" so to speak or are they soldered to a circuit board and I am he would be better off purchasing a refurb?
