99 to 02 front clip and bed conversion on a 88 to 98

you summed it up pretty good when you said "modification". I have seen it done somewhere, i think the guy took the newer hood, and joined the tops of the NBS fenders and welded them onto the top of OBS fenders. from there i think the grille was converted in along with the bumper. don't quote me on this, but i think the NBS parts were hood, grille, bumper, and portions of the fenders.

personally i would recommend swapping to a 99 escalade front end, those are a bolt on conversion and give it a newer look.

Do they still make those kits bc the only ones I can find are cheap fiberglass kits

not sure on that one.
if i were going to do it, i would go to a junkyard and just get all the pieces from a donor truck, but that might be costly.

You wouldn't want one of those aftermarket kits anyhow. They might as well have been made of tin foil the metal was so thin. OEM or nothing.
