I'm looking for a exhaust setup, rear wheel exit on both sides before the tires.. Is it possible todo this.

yes it is, just have to run the pipes close to each other then split before the axle.

Won't the gas tank be in the way?

That is why I said run them close to each other around the tank then split, it has been done millions of times.
