Says the truck has 130K but the gauge cluster went out a short time back. he had a mechanic shop qoute him $900 for a new gauge cluster so he opted for a new gauge cluster. now the truck shows almost 300K miles!!!!!

Kid sounds real sketchy to me, I havent looked at the truck in person so I have not been able to tell if he is truthful or not.

Sounded clueless when I mentioned the $125 repair that everyone is advertising to fix these gauge clusters.

i should mention I am in the market for a nwer truck, thats how I cam across this truck.

Did he mention anything about why he did the Sierra front end conversion?? Id be worried about whether its been in any wrecks. He has absolutely no information in the ad at all. That's always a red flag for me.

If I were you, I'd pass. You'll find something better.

The mileage is only stored in the cluster, so it either has 300K, or someone put a 300K mile cluster in it.
