95-99? 60/40 console

I'm looking for a 60/40 console armrest with the map pad thing. Need one in tan cloth.

ok so are you replacing your non console 60/40 or is your lid broken, or just the map pad door broken latch?
i have several items that may help ya. i got a grey console section whole, i also have a good lid case without the map pad door, and i think i have a map pad door.... well i think i still do. ill have to search for the mappad door and see if i still have one.

just depends what yours is, if its a simple mappad door latch section or alittle more for the lid hinge broken. or a mismatched grey console if you are swapping from a regular arm rest section.
but not to many people have just the console. you know how easy they break and get burned up and garbage.

I have the 95 60/40 bench with the plain ole armrest non-console. So yeah I'm needing the whole assembly in tan. Parts for obs don't last long at my local pick-n-pull. If you find one in even decent shape I'll buy it from ya, lemme know thanks

o ok. well i dont find em in good shape very often. only one i have right now is a grey console section.

if you find a good console section in a OBS truck you can remove it by removing the passenger side trim piece on the side and removing the 2 bolts on the bracket that screw into the console section. and with those 2 bolts removed pivot the hinge or console out the way so the console has alittle room to move, now what ive been using for mine is the tire tool in your truck, the socket with the large screw driver tip, now use that wrench to just pry between the console and the seats inner bracket on drivers side. JUST DO NOT PRY ON THE LID! you can pry all you want against the consoles main body it is strong but the lid is not! so open the lid out of the way and then pry between the two till it moves 1/2inch. once its freed you should be able to just pull it off the rest of the way by hand. it is only held in on that side with a pin/snap. look in my picture you can see the plastic slot that the pin/snaps into.
good luck finding a good one they are very hard to find in good shape! the top mappad latches are 90% of the time broken or the lid to the consoles hinge is broken, that or its just cig burned up cause smokers well..... they suck and always have at least 1 burn melt into the fabric!!!!!! buttholes.LOL

but again good luck! also try your local craiglist, and even post a wanted add on there. in my area a good 60/40 well ive sold a few complete around 180bucks.

Yeah, I've seen some pretty shoddy looking ones on ebay for like $170. I guess they're just another poor design by GM. Well if you come across one that at least latches on the main lid(don't really care about the map thing, as long as it's tan cloth) keep me in mind. Thanks a lot man, I appreciate it.

for a OBS i only have the console section. i did just get a nbs center jumpseat.

Hey addiction, do you have an extra trim piece for these consoles? The kinda oval shape piece thats laying on top of that one in your picture. I was able to get ahold of a tan console, but its missing that piece. If you got one I dont care what color it is, lemme know if ya do and what you want for it, thanks.

You mean the side trim that covers up the mounting bolts on the lid? I don't have one right now but last time I was at my junkyard they had a grey and a blue one that's all busted up that should have that side trim. I might be able to sag it up.

Cool, yeah it don't matter what color(tan would be best of course) I'd probably just paint it graphite or whatever that grey color is on the dash bezel. Lemme know if you get one and I'll grab it from ya. Thanks man

ok well the one i got was the grey one since the blue one would not come off that truck like the screw was welded inplace or something! and i grabbed both pieces the hinge cover and the main seats trim as well with the screw incase ya need it as well 15shippped. ya need a picture of it to make sure its the right part? i can take a picture tomorrow morning. to lazy to do so now.
