How long has it been on the truck, I have used WD40 in the past, just spray it on and wipe with a soft rag...

Hot water pressure washer. I know that will work cause that's my profession. Just don't blast the same spot for to long or it will take the paint right off of your body panels. Hope you can get that stuff off. Try to soak it in simple green that will also help

Thanks for the recommendations guys. Its been on there now for about 4 days. I contacted the local DOT and they recommended a certain brand oven degreaser which if I'm not mistaken is a pretty harsh chemical. They also said that the paint contains small reflective glass beads that will damage the paint if scrubbed. So pressure washer might be the way to go.

Yeah for the paint to shine we apply glass beads while it is still wet. Its gonna be a pain in ass to got off but it should come off

If your truck was waxed fairly recently, it will come off fairly easily. If not, it will be tougher, that's for sure.

I had this same thing to happen to me two years ago & it was really simple to remove. I went to Lowes & picked up a few of those wooden paint stir sticks. I then used those stir sticks as scrappers & the paint specks just popped right off. Granted the paint I had on mine was yellow paint that had the reflective beads of glass in it. I don't know if this made a difference in the paint coming back off but it worked for me. Since the stir sticks were made of wood, they did not damage the factory paint. Good Luck!

I'm not being held liable for any damage. But I used lacquer thinner on mine and then buffed it afterward and it looks perfect. Use sparingly and dont leave it on the clear very long.
