how do you install a body lift on 05 1500

I have a 05 z71 I'm about.to.order the 3 inch body lift finally how is it installed exactly? Do I have to remove my front fenders and what not.? I'm not sure what I'm getting myself.into I'd apreciate the help thank.you.
