Hooker headers on 305 tbi worth it?

I have an 87 scottsdale that already has true dual exhaust with no cat. I am wondering if a set of headers will be worth it. Anyone out there have a 305 with hooker longpipe headers. What do you think?

Longtubes are a nice upgrade, if you really want even better performance then a H pipe and some mufflers will be even better.

Long tubes are great, but there are better values than Hooker. When I was selling parts, they were really expensive and more flimsy than, say, the Dynomax set I bought for less than half the price. I think the name recognition has kept them going for so long.

I cant beat the price. My buddy has had them in his shop for years I gave him $20 for the set. Any idea of about how much a shop will charge to install?
