Is anyone currently running this setup up or have before. I like it a lot, the way it looks too. Does it sound good or what? Let me hear what you think. I don't know Alot about exhaust. I'm only 17. And trying to find some stuff out about that style. I order my 2 spintech 9000 2 1/4, just trying to find a exhaust that will make it sound good. My piping is 2 1/4 duals dumped right now W/ turbo mufflers
Thanks.

I like the looks of side exit exhaust, but before the rear wheel won't work for me, smoke, water, etc. that comes out the tail pipe most likely land on the tire, rim, etc.. If anything, it would have to be GN (grand nation side exit, right behind the rear wheels) style.

My brother-in-law dumped two Turbos right before the RR wheel on the truck I have now, and it sounds pretty good. I don't have a picture, which is probably good because he wasn't really picky on having them line up, so I'll have to get some hangers so they sit evenly.

That not bad. I wanting to the same but keep the sleek look and use either corvette tips or Z28 tips.

I had a single 2½" Thrush welded muffler on mine before I put the 383 in. It was surprisingly quiet inside. Outside it had a nice little burble to it.

I have a stock 95' that I did this to. It has a standard cat with a really cheap turbo glasspack. I had them reuse the rusted chrome tips that came with the truck, they are about 3 feet long with 3" opening, and the two tips dump in front of the passenger wheel like in he photo above. I can tell you that's the funnest $100 I've spent. I've heard way more expensive exhaust systems that don't seem to add much to the range in tone I can get with this setup, it's hilarious. Also...it's at the perfect position to hit those imports in the face when you tromp on it.
Now...to be clear I am going to true dual the setup this month, since I finally have the cash, but it's only going to be a dualed out version of what I already have - minus the cats. One thing I have found for sure is to make sure your tips are good and long. It really deepens the tone and projection of the sound.

Thanks! Long time reader, first time poster haha.
Now I've read that in a couple places, but I have to ask, am I loosing anything by going with the true dual? Here is my thought, I would like to get the exhaust done now with the intent of reusing it when I get a 383 stroker to drop in there.

If you pick the right size you won't lose anything your going to need to be smaller than stock size diameter wise ex if stock is 2.5 you
Would Wana go with 2" or 2.25 for duels

Do you have some specifics on performance as to why you went back? Or is more a question of sound?
