Just wondering if anyone on here knows much about motorcycles...bought a bandit 600 last September with only 5400 miles on it. Ran great on the way home but it had been sitting for a while before I bought it which rusted the tank and therefore messed up my carbs. Brought it to the shop and had the tank creamed and carbs rebuilt as well as the pet**** rebuilt. The bike runs great and I changed the oil on Tuesday. I used synthetic Mobil One bike oil and when I was done the oil was right at the full mark. Now a couple days later and after riding maybe 35 miles the oil is overfull... I don't seem to be losing gas and the guy from the shop said gas wasn't in the oil before either so I don't know why it would be now. It sprinkled one night but I doubt that water would have been able to get in there. Also the bike runs great and starts right up even in 35 degree weather.
Any suggestions as to what I should do? I just don't want to hurt the motor by running it with the oil overfull. Any help would be appreciated

does the oil smell like gas? you have to watch the levelness of the bike ( make sure its sitting straight up). was the oil a synthetic oil made for bikes? if not the extra friction modifiers in the oil will mess with your clutch.
