Hey folks, im thinking of getting the watts link, does it eliminate the need for a rear sway bar? from what i can tell it looks like it does but just double checking, i want to build my truck for autocross/daily driving pretty much, would it be better to run the watts link or a good rear sway bar?

also for c-notching the frame, if i want to lay frame can that be accomplished without cutting the bed up? say, with a bolt on c-notch?

A watts link is not a replacement for a sway bar. A watts link stops side to side movement.

The watts link only keeps the rear end centered. As far as laying frame you will have to do a bigger c notch to lay all the way out.

No, no... The Watts link simply keeps the axle centered. The sway bar keeps the suspension level from right to left.

That said, the KP Watts link is a pretty solid unit and comes complete. Easy to put on and simple.

Remember, it's a good time to change the diff fluid while you are taking bolts out

Here is a shot of my truck after I installed the KP 6 link with a bolt in notch. I only have 22's so you will sit about an inch higher with 24s.

Here is what it looks like aired out with the bed on.
