I bagged the front of my truck yesterday night. Its the first one ive ever done so im open to criticism.

I put a new bed on it cause the old one was smashed. The new one came from a z71 heres me removing the stickers and trim

I can't say for sure, but it wouldn't hurt to weld in a gusset at the top. As long as you can get your fingers around the bag with nothing touching you should be fine.

ok thanks..how do i go about notching for tie end rods?

drop your truck down slowly till your ties are almost touching the frame take a sharpie and trace out on your frame where they are hitting,cut 2 and a half inchs up in a half moon shape the cut a pipe down the center to put in its place and tack it in place then lower your truck on down to see if its hitting any where if its not weld it up.
