92 Chevy K1500 driver door interior handle broken.

Hello again,
My interior door handle is, what I think, broken. Everything still works, it's just that it is loose. Ivan wiggle it easily. (We are still talking about the door handle). Them later on, when opening the door, I pulled it and it made a clicking noise. Then next few pulls after, the click stopped, but it's still loose. Thanks in advance for any and all help!

Is there maybe just a part inside that is loose or a spring that got stuck?

Wait did you replace it? If not, go on eBay and order one for about $15 and replace it yourself, it's pretty easy.

No didn't replace it, it just feels loose. Like a spring is loose or missing.

Ya replacing is easy napa stocks then usually for about 25 bucks only about a half hour job to do!!

My truck has all that wood stuff on the door panels. Does all that have to come off?

Not sure if it is the same as a 98. I replaced mine twice. Anout $15 from the dealer took me about 2 min to replace.

door panels are door panels if they have the wood stuff on them or not but the is kinda strange i drive a 89 and when i went to fix mine it was riveted in so have a good drill bit or rivet cutter and the clips on the back are kind of fiddley its like eating an elephant take it one step at a time
