View Full Version : Help with Spindles for a 2000 Suburban 2500 2wd

I've owned and lowered just about every Chevy pickup or Suburban made, but just got my hands on a 2000 3/4 ton and apparently it is the bastard child year. It's coil sprung up front and leaf springs out back. I want to lower it, and have little or no fear of going all out if that's what I decide, but I want to know what spindles fit this thing. Are they the same as the 99 and older OBS truck or are they the same as the torsion bar setup that is on the 1999 NBS trucks? I did a search and can't seem to get a good answer. I'll start making calls tomorrow, but wondered if anyone had a clue right now?
Thanks,
Chad

According to McGaughy's they are a different spindle than the other years, but that just doesn't seem right to me, and they didn't inspire confidence while talking to them. So, when I take delivery of this thing in the next couple weeks I'll look under it and start figuring it out.
Nobody else has had any experience with one of these?
