I have a 2001 gmc sierra and I have 3 in drop coils in the front with 2 in drop shackles in the back. I want to drop the front 1 more inch and was wondering if it would work, also a 6in flip kit on the back and doing away with the shackles. My wheels are 20 ins and here are the specs on them Offset: +19mm
Backspacing: 5.45" Bolt Pattern: 6-139 Rec. Tire Size:285/50-20. I just wondering if there will be enough room for the tires to move without them hitting the fender now with the 3in drop there is just about a inch of room left but i don't know if i want to try it.

Thanks

There are a couple easy ways to test this without taking anything apart. The simplest is to find a buddy with a car trailer and load the truck on it. Then, measure the height front and rear at the fender and strap that bad boy down by the frame, NOT THE SUSPENSION. Then you can tighten the straps until the truck is "lowered" the extra inch. You can then get in it, start it up and turn the wheels and do all your clearance testing.

The second way is also using straps but you will have to figure out how to use them to compress the suspension. I've done it a lot on older trucks, but it is harder on newer ones since the inner fenders are so closed in.

Should work fine but I'd reccomend just doing the flip kit out back and leave the front at 3", it will be level
