put a middle seat in?

Hi i have captain chairs in my silverado and in between is a cassette player and compartment . is it possible to take that out and put a middle seat in so my wife can sit closer to me?

Anything is possible... I don't think they make seats designed to fit in the middle or if it would be legal for you to fab one up. I think you'd be looking at swapping out for a bench seat
