I recently bought a '92 Chevy Scottsdale Ext. Cab 4x4 that has a suspension lift. The difference between where the lower "A" arm sits stock compared to now with the lift is 6" center of bolt to center of bolt. The rear has blocks measuring 4". The front of the truck is noticeably higher than the back. I measured the distance from tires to fenders and the front has 1 1/2" more clearance than the back.
Does this affect the angle from the pinions to transfer case? Do I need to find 6" blocks for the rear of this thing, or can I use extra leafs to make up the difference?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
Jon

Get rid of the crappy block and get yourself a shackle flip and a zero rate add-a-leaf.

Many lifts will be 6" front and 4" blocks rear. The trucks come from the factory nose low and if you just put the suspension lift in without overcranking it you normally end up with a fairly level truck. Also, many lift companies advice to stack the 4" block on top of the factory block to net the full rear lift. I also would recomend either a full 6" spring for the rear or putting a AAL on what you have to get the rear up in the air a little more.
