I asked generally the same ? over in the exterior section. But what is interchangeable on the interior from 88-98? Im mainly looking at putting 95-98 door panelsp in a 88. Will it work? Or would it be easier to get 95-98 doors?

Totally different years, so different generation, different body style, so different doors and panels.
Google 1995 door panel, then look at your door panel (if you have a '88), I guess it could fit with some mods, like extending lock and door handle rods, not to mention macking new door panel mounts so it sits right, and not sag over time (the door panel arm rest area).

You would need all the guts of a 95 and up. Plus the front of the panel needs some massaging because of the difference in the dash boards and how they "tuck" into the door panels. I am actually wanting to go from the 95 up to 94 below so that it would be easier to add speaker pods.

Sorry about that, it can be done though, what would be easier would prolly just swap inner door skins, not sure how different the inners are.

The 88-94 use identical sheet metal and body parts to the 95-98 with the exception of the grille, which changed in '94 and the headlights which changed in 89, but will interchange to any year between 88-98. The inner rods and wiring *MIGHT* be different on the 95-98 to accommodate the different locations of the switches and handles. I doubt the rods would be any different but the power switch connectors probably are. It would be easy enough to change them out though. All changes (less the computer and fuel injection systems) are interchangeable on these trucks with little to no modification.

It can be done easy, I've had 98 door panels in my 91 with the stock dash for a year or so now, just the switch for the dome light is different but it'll fit as is and doesn't line up that bad. You'll need the inner door card (metal part with everything mounted to it) and the rods (yes they are totally different) and that's about it for the doors.
