Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the cruise control switch on my 94 K1500. The wires have broken and rather than spend the $80 for a new switch, I'd like to just rewire it with a pair of switches, can anyone tell me what the 4 wires do?

You cannot put just a couple of switches on since the stalk does several functions at one time. Either bite the bullet or go to the junk yard.

I do it on a daily basis with big trucks,i can set and adjust the cruise control from the rear toolbox with an on off switch and a 2 position momentary switch, so I know out can be done. Just need to know what each wire does, there are only 4 of them.

pink/black to grey is on/off(use a toggle)
pink/black to dark green momentary(button) is resume/accel
pink/black to dark blue momentary(button) is set/coast

I have red, yellow, blue, and green. Going to assume that the red is what you're referring to as pink, and the grey its actually yellow.

Are those the colors in the stalk harness? The ones i gave are in the harness where the stalk harness plugs in

Couldn't you get a generic replacement stalk for around $20 ???

yes those are the 4 wires sticking out of the top of my column.
The $20 stalk would be awesome.... If it had a cruise switch in it. Planing on installing one, and saving myself a ton of money, while still fixing my cruise.

I think the parts stores have generics too, if you don't do ebay.

The ones at the parts houses are about 40 bucks with cruise. I tried one and it didn't work. Got one out of a junk yard for 15 bucks a few years ago and it's been working fine ever since. It was also the easiest way to fix it.

Yes you can, works great.
The gray wire it's the green wire in the column, the pink turns to blue, blue turns to red, and the green wire on the truck harness turns to yellow in the column.
