Most people where I live are using Flowmaster or Magnaflow.
I'm looking for a more unique sound.
I'm familiar with the three I mentioned in the title when it comes to Dodge Vipers and the quality of the products.
I own a 2000 GTS with a B&B exhaust system and my buddy has a 2000 RT/10 with a Borla. I have some friends in our car club that own Corsa's.
But I haven't heard any of them on a Chevy V8. So I'm hoping that there my be some of you that have and tell me your thoughts.
Thanks

I have a Borla Cat-back on my 98 K1500 with the 5.7L and it has a nice tone. It is not real loud but sounds good. It has been on the truck since 2003 and still looks good but does have some minor rust spots. This is a duel out the back system.

I also have a Borla Cat-back on my 2004 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged and it is not very loud at all. This car has the 3800 V6.

Go to youtube and listen to some video's of these systems on chevy v8's.

My uncle has a DB (Truck only exhausts made by corsa) catback system on his F-150. It was by far the best sounding exhaust I had ever heard on a naturally aspirated gas truck. it had no drone at all, and was silent at cruise, but had a roaring presence when accelerating or downshifting. I bought mine yesterday and it hasn't shipped yet, it might be worth it for you to give them a look, what vehicle are you putting this system on? the DB has a 12" single tip with 3" piping for the single exit, where as the corsa sport (single exit) has a dual tip, which is great in my opinion for an avalanche or if you are going for a luxurious look, but is pricier.

Of course depending on what vehicle you have they may not even have a kit for you yet.

Thanks guys, I have a 2003 Silverado 5.3. I was on utube yesterday and was listening to some samples.
But most of them were just parked reving their engines.
The couple with the drive bys were more helpful imo.
Thanks for the input.
Anyone have anything else to add?

I like my Corsa sport catback. Fit and finish is second to none. Very quiet (even with longtubes) while cruising, but nasty at heavy or WOT.

The video really does it no justice.

^^ this truck sounds awesome. I have the single exit Corsa Db catback. It's unique and sounds SO (cannot emphasize enough) much better than the Flowmaster I had or any of the Flow's everyone else has on their trucks. They cost a little more, but it's well worth it IMO.

kemble has long tube headers. I have the stock Y pipe with cats. So there's a difference. This vid was right after I got it. I doesn't pop like that any more. Guess it's 'settled' in now.

Same truck manifolds and cats intact.
