I recently oredered prochargers p-1sc kit (#1GH212-SCI) and am in the processes for a 383 stroker, my questions are:
1-GMPP makes the ZZ383 stroker, what would it take to make it compatible with a 97 k1500 suburban, what does the ht383e come with that the zz383 doesnt, simply sensors, distributor, waterpiump, ect??
2-Im interested with running 1.6 rockers on my 383 over 1.5 rockers, if i were to order a crate ht383e or blueprints 96-99 383 stroker with then being vortec heads with 1.5s what does it take to switch to 1.6 rockers?
3-I recently read a article in a chevy mag, were they took GMPP ht383 not the E version, and stuck 1.6 rockers and a higher profile cam and few other thing and came out with over 450 Tq/hp from 3000rpm and 480Tq from 3500rpm, is it simple to switch the ramjett cam out to a higher output with switching springs and rods, ect or what does it take? Im interested in these's cams!
