Hey all,
My truck came factory with manual seats, and an electric transfer case. I just installed seats with power lumbar, and was wondering what the two little connectors are on the wiring harness that runs next to the transmission hump. The connectors are round, with two wires going to each of them. There are two of them, and they look like they are right near where the shift lever would go if I had a manual transfer case. There is nothing plugged into them. Could these be used to tap into for seat wiring? I don't have a seat wiring harness under the carpet. The only connectors I saw were the two round ones. Does anyone know what they are for?

think those are the wires for a manual shift...houseing has some lights in it....tapping in to it not good idea as you have to turn lights on for power...should be wires under carpet for seats and seat belts...worse case senario just run your own wires

that's what I was "assuming" they were for. I don't have the wires for the seats, already checked. I was just hoping i was wrong!

Wiring for seats isn't a big deal. Just use a good heavy gauge wiring and fuse your wire. There is a great place to pull power from in the under hood fuse block. There are 2 fused 30 amp studs. You would want to use a smaller inline fuse... Probably 15 amps... Whatever the manual calls for with power seats. You need a positive and a ground. You could use a ring terminal to one of your seat anchoring bolts for the ground.
