Im posting in here also because I think this air cleaner type applies to the classics only. I may be wrong. The problem I've run into is the location of the new inlet. When I started this project everything was going to work out great then I installed the TBI spacer and power charger bowl raising the air cleaner up. The inlet now sits the same height and between the master cylinder and a/c hoses. I was hoping to use a stock tube but its not going to fit. Any suggestions? What other things have people used in place of the stock tube?

Did you cut the bottom out of the air cleaner and mount the power charger to the bottom of it? Throw the choke collar away?

Choke collar went in the trash. The power charger took its place. I didnt cut out the bottom of the air cleaner though.

You're supposed to. Otherwise its just a bottleneck before going to the ppower charger.

Only solution I can see for getting that duct in the space available its to rework the aircleaner, our rework the ac lines.

Never thought about cutting the air cleaner to match. I'm actually getting the a/c hoses redone tomorrow. I'll mark them before I take them off and see if they can bend them. Thanx for the help.
