I'm looking for some new tires for my OOBS. Currently I've got 38x14.5r17s. I'm looking for an AT or MT that is skinnier but about the same height. Preferably a 38 or 37x12.5. I'd like to run the stock chevy rally wheels that are 8" wide. Are there any options out there that fit the bill. Everything seems to be 17" wheels or larger and really wide. Only thing I have found are a few interco tires and I'd rather something a little more streetable.
Any advice? Thanks for any help.

options for 38's are limited, expecially if you want a skinny tire. Iterco is the only place i know of that would have such a tire off hand.
tsl 38x12.5
bogger 38.5x11
m16 37x13.5
ssr 37x12.5
irok radial 37x12.5
trxus mt 37x12.5
Those are intercos, the trxus mt or the SSRs would be a good mt tire for the street. The M16s are still new so not much info on how long they will last.

Thanks for the info, I really hadn't looked into the trxus or ssr and they look like a good in between tire. Which would wear better?

if im not mistaken the interco LTB has some oddball high skinny designs. the trxus will definately be best on the road wear. they are much less aggressive and the ssr's tsl design in a radial is going to wear like crazy on the pavememnt.

Thanks for the help. I really never looked at the trxus mt's before but they look like a pretty decent tire for me. I like to take the truck down trails and play in the mud a little but never been into getting too crazy with it. It looks like I could get 25-30k miles out of the trxus which would be great.
I think I'm going to get either stock rally wheels or cragar soft 8's. Anyone have pics of a 37x12.5r15 on an 8" wheel? Also, should the 37 actually measure out to that?
Thanks for all the help.
