My friend's neighbor said he's willing to trade interiors off his 2009 2500HD LTZ with my 2007 NBS Lt2 (cloth seats). He happens to want cloth, and I want leather and wood grain so the trade works out perfect.
I want to swap everything from door panels to seats to dash. I was wondering if you guys could help me figure out some answers to a few questions.
1. Is changing the location of the door handle a big deal? The LTZ has its handle located in a different place like the Tahoes and Escalades do.
2. My power seats are now 6 way. Is my truck already wired to run the 8 way seats from the LTZ?
3. Is the dash pretty simple to get out or it very time consing to unplug wires and other things behind the dash?
4. Will the odometer show my miles, or his miles after installed in my truck?
Anything else I should be aware of when doing an interior swap?
