OBS Door Panels Recovered

Just wondering if anyone has actually reupholstered the door panels in a 88 Silverado before? I painted mine black but I find they scratch extremely easy and I'd rather have fabric anyway.

when u painted them, did u use vinyl paint? like SEM? its a dye and will soak in and keep the original texture and not scratch or anything

Yes I used SEM but half the door panel is hard plastic so the seatbelt scratches the hell out of it. Guess I'll have to figure it out and maybe post a DIY
