Ok so I have my friend, who has smae type of burban as me, He just installed is system, But for his power supply, he is getting it from the rear fan located well in the back. He is pushing 1250 amp and to 12 MTX subs. Bumps pretty good, but is this safe.

It will work fine until the harness melts and it catches on fire. No, this amp should have a MINIMUM 8AWG cable feeding it, not the small fan power wire. It should also be fused.

I get it... 8 AWG wire is expensive... but it's cheaper than another suburban!
