I have a 99 Silverado that I swapped a 2004 6.0, LQ4 in to. Bandits stole one of my cats and and hacked up the passenger side pretty good but didn't get that one.

I guess I'm willing to re-do my entire exhaust from header to tips. It goes 2 into one and dumps before the axle now. I'm not sure what muffler is on there, its lightly rusted and I can't really tell.

I'm not really looking for glass pack levels of loudness, but just a nice deep rumble that's above average loud. Also I may need to try to become California legal in the near future, so I need to keep that in mind. I believe that means true duals are out of the question.

What are some suggestions without breaking the bank as far as Long tube headers, 2 cats and a mufflers go?

I Guess I could just as well replace the cats and be done with it... but I'm still considering replacing everything. thanks.

Also I would like to explore the option of electric cut outs for fun.

I was looking at one into two with RBP tips exit behind the rear tires.
