Hi everyone! In the year I've had my truck I've found a good amount of information here so I figured this would be the place to help solve my problem. I apologize if this is in the wrong section, Interior tech sounded right to me.

Earlier this year I got a set of 2005 Sierra heated, electric, leather seats to replace my electric, cloth (driver) and manual, cloth passenger seats in my 2004 Silverado. Everything bolted right in on the driver's side, but it's the passenger side where I'm having issues.

If I have my airbag set to "auto" (with everything plugged in on the passenger side) the service airbag light comes on. If it's on "off" then it doesn't come on.

Dealer quoted me $440 to make the Sierra seats work. I'd like my passenger airbag to work and avoid spending that much if I can. Is it possible to take the components out of my old passenger seat and put them in the new ones? I've been trying that with the occupancy sensor and am not having any luck.

Thanks in advance.
