Installing amp and subs to factory radio?

Just got a 2007 chevy silverado LTZ, want to know the best way to install my amp and subs to my factory radio. don't relly want to put an after market deck in the truck but want the bass i had in my old truck. any info will help.

You have 2 options.

See if your amp has a high lvl input (RCA's are low lvl) there usually a plug in.

Run leads from your rear speakers into it. (Match left to right front rear on amp)

If your amp don't have one get a high-low lvl converter avail @ your local radio shack
Give the amp power! And please for the love of all the Chevy gods out there, don't run the power through the door!

We had a kid bring in a mustang that he run 4ga through his door with no fuse! Melted his fender when the door pinched it, all the way up through the pcm lines he had it laying on, burnt straight through amazing what a 5$ fuse could of avoided to LOL
