Intake Manifold Help!

Went to swap meet today and did some trades here and there and got a intake I'm unsure about it has no holes on top plate for mounting a carb or a throttle body haven't seen one ever so took it lol it's set up kinda like the edlebrock 2949 intake at summitracing.com oh the guy said its just a gm intake lol its sharp and aluminium any help?

Ok it fits LS engines and was snagged off the shelf most likely at a GM manufacture before it had got any machine work so I kept the jewel! Lol
