Good idea??

I recently just put a new y pipe/cat on my 95 k1500 and was wondering if knocking the cat out would help any? It's got minor things done to it like headers, thrush muffler, injector pod spacer, recent tune up, nothing to crazy. Let me know what you think.

Yeah it helped me a ton it sounds 10xx better now. Have you ever heard exhaust with just cats compared to open headers there is a big difference, that is the amount of sound and resistance that cat has. If you follow what im saying.
