Sub for regular cab truck. Where do i put?

Id like to try and fit a sub or two, biggest size i can. This needs to fit in a regular cab truck with a bench seat. I know there is some space under the seat and very small space behind the seat. Im just hoping maybe somone else may have already done this. I just want some info on maybe how you went about doing it with the tightness in space. Thanks, Graham.

I had 2 12s in my 88, if you are much taller than 5'8" it wont be very comfy. Mine were in a custom box behind the seat

Im about 5'11 so i guess i could swing it, i wouldnt want to be too close to the dash board though. Did you just move the seat up as far as it went and shove them back there? i was thinking about the slimest box they make with the biggest sub that could go in it

Shallow mount 10's would be the most logical option, but you might be able to fit some regular 8's or 10's behind there. Not sure I'll have to look at my friends 91 and see.

im thinking thats my best bet, then replace the speakers with high quality speakers

I have a 92 Reg. cab and what i did was buy a rockford fosgate p3s shallow mount 12, i pulled the jack storage tray out to let the sub sit down a little farther and only had to move the seat forward a click or two and im 6'1'' and had plenty of room, sure the rockford isnt going to win any competitions but it gave me a pretty good thump for the price and space limitations

i have since put a speaker grille on there so it wont hit the chair
