Greetings, this is my first post on FSC. If I did not post the right info please let me know.
I have a 1987 Chevrolet V10 Custom Deluxe. (V10 is same as K10). My original cluster has the whopping big gas gage in the far right, then speedo, and small gages are volts, oil pressure, temp, and a blank. Some of the gages stopped working and I hate blanks in the cluster anyway, so I bought this from eBay for $300 - [edit: I had a link here but I keep getting an error that I cant post one because I don't have 5 posts. Its described below anyways.]
It is a C60 cluster. It has 5 gages, tack+gas (on the same plate), speedo, and small gages are volts, oil pressure, some type of air gage, and temp. The PCB on the back is different (has fewer wires, oddly), so I'm not sure it it will work just plugging it in. It would be fantastic to have some sort of diagram that shows what each wire on the plug is for, but I couldn't find anything after a few weeks of searching. If someone knows how the stock plug is wired, I would greatly appreciate a table or diagram of it. Also I tried to find out what that air gage is supposed to measure, but no luck on that either. If anyone knows where that hooks up, I'd like to make use of it. If it absolutely cant work on my truck, I could put a clock there or something, but I'd really like to have that working.
I have searched to the best of my ability to find out these things myself first, but haven't had much luck.

Oh, one more thing - I've been trying to obtain a stock plug for the tach (the C60 cluster doesn't have it), so if anybody has one or can just tell me which pins to run where, I would greatly appreciate that too.

Thanks very much!

I found another cluster with a factory tach wire harness and wires (this came from a C30 or some such truck, with the small gas gage in place of the air gage and lights in place of the tiny gas gage on the tach). However, this C30 cluster has the wrong graphics and script for my year, so at the moment I'm planning to use the tach harness and the rest of it just resell or keep for parts. So now I need to find out on the C60 cluster what the wiring differences are (if any, I've heard they are different and thats good enough reason for me to not plug it in till I'm sure) and see about getting the air gages to work. I'm very enthusiastic about this C60 gage because it has the correct graphics and script but at the same time its different and would be great for show as well as being fully functional. Anyone who knows the differences in the main harness, please let me know, I would greatly appreciate it. I've also still not found what the air gage measures, I'd love to hook that up and have it working too.

Thank you!

The C30 cluster wasn't what I was expecting - needs a bit of restoration to be presentable, so I'm just using the tach wire from that one. Going with the C60 gage then, so if anyone knows about the wiring, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks!

I dont know about the wiring but the air gage is for the air brakes,so im not sure it will be of use to you.

Thank you for letting me know about the air gage. The guy I bought this from initially said it was a vacuum gage and then wouldn't respond back to me. So I suppose there is no other area where those could measure pressure on a 10 series truck? If not, I understand that is the factory location for a clock. A gas gage could also go there but the PCB on the back was cut for the air gage and there's already a gas gage on the tach. Do you know of anyone who could identify the wiring differences between a C60 and V10(K10) gage cluster? There are less contacts on my C60 gage and some of those contacts may run to different spots too.

Thanks very much!
