I've owned this old Suburban for about 6 years now and finally got around to lifting it! I used a Rough Country 6" kit and a 3" body lift. The tires are Toyo 37x13.50R17's on 17x9 Helo wheels. So far I LOVE the tires... balanced perfectly and ride smooth! I'm swapping to 5.13 gears soon.

I'm not sure how other people install this kit, but the directions say to pop loose the upper ball joint, axle nut, lower ball joint, etc... I saw no need in this and removed the whole thing as a unit and all worked out well.

My sig pic was "before".

I'd love to have the truck in your sig sitting in my driveway next to my Suburban! I've been looking for a red/white truck for quite some time, but they aren't very common, especially in good shape.

Yeah ive only seen 2 other trucks like mine around here, both in terrible shape. I like to think mine is in great shape for being a 97, although it does have its flaws here and there.
