View Full Version : 2 1/8" primarie headers

Hey looking for a set of 2 1/8" primarie headers for a 1991 454SS truck for a customers truck. We are building him a 582ci BBC and have had no luck a finding a proper header yet. 2" will not cut it, plain and simple. Thanks for your time.

Why will 2" not cut it? You're going to have a restriction in the collector anyways, nobody makes an 8" collector.

Sounds like you will have to make ur own headers, but I agree with GreaseDog, why not 2"?

Because we have proven on the Dyno mutiple times that a 2" header simply isnt enough. It leaves alot of HP/Tq on the table, Why get the air in if you can get it out?
