TH400 Dipstick?

Can someone tell me the length of the tranny dipstick in a 1987 5.7 v2500 Burb with a th400? Tip of mine broke off and have no idea how much is missing. Bought a new one for a th400 and its too sort at 24". Everything I've googled says 24" but that is wrong.

just measured mine its 35" from end to end .about 33" from tip to cap(what sits on the tube)
