I have an 89 sierra wt and have changed the dash to a 92 model to use the needle gauges. I also changed the interior and engine harnesses to the 92 model.
All gauges work EXCEPT the speedo, odometer, and trip-meter. I still have the 89 VSS in the tranny tail yet, I have heard that 89 had year specific parts, is this true?
If so will a VSS for a 92 model solve this problem. Also the digital climate control won't work, all the verticle arrows on the left side and all the horizontal arrows at the bottom flash simultaneously no matter what setting I choose. any ideas?:confused:
