1999 tahoe 4dr. what is stock muffler pipe size.

i would like to know if anybody can tell me for 100% sure what is the size of the exhaust piped that go into and come out of the muffler on a 99 tahoe.

i would like to know the outter diameter of the pipe on both sides of the muffler inorder to put on an aftermarket flow master super 44 series,

i want to use the metal pipe adapter that i can slide right over the new muffler and stock exhaust pipes and then weld then perfectly sealed.

is it 2.5'' o/d going into the muffler and 3'' o/d coming out of the muffler ? or am i wrong ?

Should be dual 2" into the muffler and single 2-3/4" coming out....that's ID measurements
