That's what I used. Worked perfect. Couldn't find anything at the hardware store.

That's the plug for the intake, he wants a plug for the exhaust manifold...IIRC, wouldn't it be a cap? Rather than a plug....seems like I remember the stock manifolds on the 5.7 having male threads for the egr tube

Whoops, you're right, sorry. I think my tube threaded INTO both, so I'd think you would need a plug for the exhaust manifold, not a cap, I could be wrong though. What about just using shorty headers? That's why I plugged my intake, used shorties for a TBI truck.

If it's the same as an O2 sensor I think it's 18x1.4 or something like that... I got one of those at Ace Hardware for my extra O2 sensor hole.
