How to get residue off body paint??

A couple of weeks ago i used turtle wax's trim detailer on my dried out faded tonneua cover, well when the first hard rain hit some of the residue washed down the side of the bed both sides and left this greasy looking film on the paint. Ive tried multiple washes even used meguiars clay bar kit still couldn't get it off i tried to include a couple pics of what im talking about but it wont let me any help would be greatly appreciated because its a horrible eye sore its been on for about 2 weeks now

It's a shot in the dark but try one part compound with three parts
Maguires (red) in a small area.

Use Turtle Wax's "Bug and Tar Remover" spray. I use it to clean up bad wax jobs and to remove traction compound crap off my fenders after a day at the drags.

I detail cars on the weekend for quick cash so I have a few other tricks. PM me if you need a few other methods
