Best aftermarket receiver for 2012 Silverado?

Looking to add receiver to 2012 silverado. What's the best fitting unit out there? Also, is there a wiring kit out there to make this easier? Not sure what class I need, want to tow my bass boat.

What class truck are you talking, we need some details? I'm running a 2.5" Reese Titan on my 2500HD 18,000lb trailer weight and 2,000lb tongue weight. I'm pretty happy with it, however if you have a 1/2ton that hitch is major overkill.

I thought all full size trucks came with hitchs.

Anyway your bass boat isn't very heavy.Any aftermarket class 3 or 4 should get the job done.They make plug and play wire kits.Any farm store should have them.
